Well...here are a few more questions from my e-mail about the Info360 event -- and don't forget to register...
Q. Is there any education actually on the show floor?
A. See the links above for our training precon and for the Doculabs Live! sessions we'll be doing as part of our booth. Leading vendors will conduct multimedia educational presentations on the Expo floor in the Applications Showcase Theater. Here's the schedule...
Q. The last time the Show was in Philadelphia there was an opening night reception. Is there one this year?
A. Yes, from 4:30-6:00 on the opening evening (Tuesday) of the Show.
Q. Is Bob Zagami doing his A-Z Presentation? I always liked that...
A. Sure is. At 11:30 on Tuesday and 10:30 on Wednesday and Thursday. Bob reviews every exhibitor on the show floor; all in 60 minutes! Bob’s insight will provides a glimpse of the products, service and application solutions that may be just right for you. Bob will also highlight new product introductions, new technologies that attendees may not be aware of, and new vendors that are making their first appearance at the Info360 show. Bob's presentation will be in the Doculabs Live! area next to the AIIM booth.
Q. What's the attendance going to be like this year?
A. We don't have access to the kind of attendance detail that we had during the years when we owned the Show. But I think it fair to say that the Info360 Show will have some challenges this year -- EVERY trade show is having challenges. Our industry does tend to be more resilient than many others. On the Association side, we've been working hard to spread the word that document and records management technologies are key to saving money and driving efficiency during a recession. We did a survey last month on buying intentions in the midst of this crazy economy -- you can get a copy by going to Making the Case for Document Management in Challenging Times.
Q. I need leads. Once the Show is over, does AIIM (the Association) provide any other programs to help solution providers connect with customers?
A. AIIM provides a full suite of B2B marketing services to help connect users and suppliers. AIIM provides everything from webinars to e-advertising to print advertising to in-person local events -- at less cost and more effectively than anyone else in the marketplace. So once the Show is over, contact at to talk about how to keep the leads flowing during the rest of the year.
